File - Product Category - Surcharges (v2.8)

You use this screen to apply regional / warehouse surcharges to a product category. These surcharges are then used to recalculate the base cost of goods when using markups.

To maintain warehouse surcharges for a product category:

1. Add a new product category or open an existing one.

Refer to "Adding a New Product Category" or "Updating a Product Category".

2. Select the Surcharges tab.

Micronet displays the Category File Update screen - Surcharges tab showing any warehouse surcharges already setup for the product category.

3. If you want to:

• add a warehouse surcharge, select the Add button
• insert a warehouse surcharge, select the line below where you want the surcharge inserted then select the Insert button
• delete a warehouse surcharge, select the line then select the Delete button
• edit a warehouse surcharge, double click on a surcharge or select a surcharge then press Enter.

If you selected to add, insert or edit a warehouse surcharge, Micronet displays the Warehouse Surcharge screen.

4. Complete the following fields:

5. Select Accept.

If you selected to add a warehouse surcharge, Micronet redisplays the Warehouse Surcharge screen so you can add further warehouse surcharges.

6. When you have finished entering warehouse surcharges, select the Cancel button.

Micronet displays the new or amended warehouse surcharge(s) on the Category File Update screen - Surcharges tab.

7. Select FILE | SAVE.
